I was told of a nasty rumor that the RRGCC leadership snubbed a donor who was offering a 2-3 million dollar donation to go towards recreation in the Red. Aparently they did not like his republican political background.
Would Shannon like to shed some light on this?
True? Rumour?

If possible, could you send them my way. I heartily pledge my allegiance towards
allocating the millions towards "recreation" in the Red. I will do this for most any political party that the millionaire wishes. In fact, I will climb with an elephant or donkey on my T-shirt, maybe even a nice catchy slogan on the back. I'm pretty good at memorizing stuff, and forgetting I ever memorized it as well if the party changes its tune! Please help a quickly aging cubicle jockey realize his reacreative potential.

Shannon responds to this rumor in a post on the RRGCC's message forum.

I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
