i'm doing an economic feasability study and this whole theory by Gold
would be a huge antithesis

don't know anything about hydrocarbons in basement rock. if your doing a report on the economic feasibility of that though, i would say it's not. it would be a lot easier for us to destroy irag and all surrounding middle eastern nations and take their oil, than for us to use our brains and utilize some alternative methods of mining, drilling, etc.
