Anyone with dreams of Yosemite for May/June 2003 drop me a line. It would be alot of fun to see some of you out there and if you haven't made plans yet maybe I can help you make it happen.
Crap. I am jealous. I am going to to Tetons and Rainier, than I wanted to bust down to Yosemite, its all a matter of cash. Actually, the fact that I would not be making any while I was gone.
I was out in the Valley a few years ago around Memorial Day (late May). During the day the weather was mostly great. We did have some snow one day, but otherwise it was clear. The only real down side was that the high elevation areas (the rim of the valley) holds snow that melts and runs down the clifs - hence lots of wet climbs. Still, it's the valley, so there's tons of dry stuff to climb. It's the greatest climbing area in the world, so it's well worth it for anyone who's iffy.
Anyone going to be out West for a significant portion of June/July/August? Looks like I might have an internship out near the San Francisco bay area...
