ok, thanks for the info, esp. the wise words on dog poop

Lago Linda looks great - do a lot of climbers hang out there too? (don't want to be too isolated... but would also like to get some sleep now and then....)

Man, if you stay at Linda's just eat dinner at Miguel's. You can have the best of both worlds by hanging out with noisy climbers and retiring in the restful atmosphere at Linda's. Or, you can eat at MIguel's and stay at Red River OUtdoors. They are just down the road from MIguel's and are certain to have excellent camping space by the time you come down.

Oh yeah, and have a cup of joe and/or some breakfast food at Red River Outdoors. It is much better than the Lodge. 8)

do you think if we keep bringing up dogs we can highjack it?
Sand inhibits the production of toughtosterone, so get it out and send.

Pretty much. I just thought I'd throw in a pitch for RRO! They rock.

Now about Dakota...she's pretty much the best dog ever. Getting Deuce Del and Dakota together...it's a force of nature.

Remember it it a FS regulation that pets must be on a leash at all times or they will be confiscated.
So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins,

I'm sure this'll get ugly now.

I heard that there was a leash rule at the Preserve as well. Is this true?
