Coolness. This has been super fun, just thinking about how different climbing was in the early days of the red.

Sooo, what did I win??

It has just been fun playing and trying to think how different things were before. Maybe another cool early RRG FA story? That would be sweet, and everyone can enjoy it.

Oh, and when are you going to be back in KY? It would be super cool to climb with you again.

I'll try to think of tale everyone hasn't heard already. But I will send you some piece of gear off my rack, something that's special to me at least. Something that's been up almost every route I've ever done. How's that?

That would be cool beyond words, but a story would be just fine as well.

No chalk? That was a little strange even then, wasn't it? I mean chalk was in use everywhere. We knew about it, I was a dipper myself. But never in the Gorge, even on R and X routes. Curious, no?

Wes - when you get the booty, please post some photos. Someday there will be a RRG climbing museum, but until then some pics here will have to do!
