Have you been to Rocktown lately?

I read online that access to Rocktown may not be possible due to road
problems,and the ranger is getting pissed off because people keep trying to drive up. Is this true?If so is there another way to access the boulders
besides the usual road past the ranger station?

Haven't been up there since the road closed, but I understand that you can still come in from Doughtry(sp) Gap. Best go to Topozone.com and study a map of the Pigeon Mountain area. Expect about 5 miles of nasty muddy dirt road.

haven't been to rocktown lately but there is a back way to acess the area from doughtry pass, some friends of mind went a few weeks ago and said the back way wasn't too bad though it gets ruted out at one point and it's muddy
i'm sure a map is floating around somewhere by now if the road hasn't been fixed
