Best semi skinny rope

I am looking for opinions on what manufacture makes the best rope in the 9.7-9.8 range. I am looking to get a 70 meter cord probablly dry treated.

I'm sure somewhere there is a thread relating to this but thought I would ask for up to date info.

longest lasting, most cut resistent, lightest, most supple?

Longest lasting, last to fuzz out, just general overall. I typically retire ropes from age not falls. I will use it for mostly long trad lines.

I really like my new sterling 9.8, 70 meter, bi-color. Seems super nice so far, and I have had several sterlings that have held up to abuse very well.

does anyone retire a rope based on the # of falls?

Thanks for the info, I have had other climbers say good things about the sterling cords. The only really bad rope I have ever had was a Roca, fuzzed out after 500-600' of climbing. Total piece of shit! Perhaps I just got a bum rope.

kneebar, there's a 9.6 sterling nitro dry on sale at mgear.com (find RRO's link and use it for another 5% off). it's going at around 190 i think. i might pick one up myself. i have a 9.9 edelweiss and i don't like it it, it's super kinky and feels thicker than some 10.2s and 10.5s i've used.

Those forkin 9.6mm Nitros are Tres SHIT! They are great. I have had one for a couple of years now and (apart from the dirt) it still looks new. It has taken a HUGE beatin' from me too.
