I had a home sewn sling tested at Misty Mountain once. It was five years old and one of the first things I'd ever sewn. It held about 4,200 lbs before the webbing, not the stitching, broke.

Some of the draws on Chainsaw and one on Resurrection were replaced in the past couple of weeks --thanks to some generous climbers. I donated one booty draw that I found 5 years ago 8)

It's funny how people will hesitate to fall on booty gear and then put it up someplace where lots of total strangers will whip on it without ever knowing it's history.
