recently on RC.com i saw some inspiring photos of Arachnid and Africa at Tower Rock. i was planning on going there this weekend; saturday, perhaps.
i just looked in the Bronaugh guidebook and it says that Tower Rock was closed to climbing by the Forest Service. there's no mention of access issue or closure in the online guide. so, is it closed or has the FS changed its mind?
a separate matter, i heard that FS9 has been repaired. is this true? can i get to Crack Attack without the extra-long approach?
the road is a flat gravel run, don't let it put you off, if you don't have a bike available Peeble Beach is still quite easy to access and has some nice trad lines
