Hotels
Thanks!
I'll try calling the Stanton Lil' Abners to check it out!! Is Stanton a large town worthy of a rest day or would it be better to go to Lexington? Mostly we'll be camping, but a couple days in a hotel could be nice too.We are wicked excited to
get out there n' start climbing!! We'll be arriving the 5th of march and staying until
the 16th or so,If anyone wants to try and get together for a day of climbing let us
know, that would be cool.

Stanton is small. About 11 miles from the Red. Richmond is nice with lots of restaurants and the motels are cheaper there than in Lexington. If you are looking for entertainment; I agree with Wes, Lexington is your best bet. If you just want to chill and have good food and drinks, I'd try Richmond. There are some nice motels right on I-75. It's a bit closer than Lex, but the route to Richmond is two-lane and curvy. If you aren't used to Kentucky driving, I'd rate it a 5.13.
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.
