Newest mat I finished this week for a friend. Note the carefully woven figure 8 some of you chuffers use as the finishing not. It's kind of the Yosemite follow through rap knot that lies really flat. This one took about 45 meters, guidebook for scale.....

The county has a head of homemakers? WTH, can I get one to do my dishes?

Heh, funny Merrick.

Yeah, that's about 45 meters from a single rope. Next project is a welcome mat for Tackett's store but it's gonna prolly take 2 different 50 meter ropes cause it's gonna be nice and big and purty.

I still like the idea of a yoga mat. Anybody got a couple of ropes they want to donate?

Dude, not a good idea. Yoga mats are used to give you traction and padding.

Ropes are not soft. When woven they are a bunch of uneven ridges with bumps all over them and they spread out when you pull on them.
