Post by captain static »

We have made the switch to a php based site: http://www.rrgcc.org/

Excellent!
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

nice. are you using a cms so RRGCC board members can add news without more web development?

I like the site but the color scheme is drivng me nuts. if it is all in a style sheet you might try to get rid of that pink. it seems to clash with the red and yellow in my opinion.

I'm not sure what a cms is but I do know that you don't need to be a web expert to update the content. If you have any comments on the site it would be appreciated if you would post them under the Feedback topic on the rrgcc.org forum. Also, Blake is going to be out of town for a few weeks so don't expect any major changes until he gets back.

a cms is a content management system.

essentially. it would allow you to go to a web page, and with a form enter in a news item and where it should go. then it would automatically be put there.

no need to code at all.
