The current list? Might be easier to just link to the crag sloth...
But, the things I really want to get in the near future:
Wild Gift (fast becoming my new nemisis)
Soul Ram
Steelworker
Herd Mentality
Then on to some harder tard climbing.

True. I just don't have any trad projects right now. But, I am wanting to try some harder trad stuff soon.Caspian wrote:Isn't this a trad thread?

My main projects are the same as they've been for quite a while now......

--Do not catch the widespread and accepted sickness at the Red and become another fucking spraydog.
I hope I never become one of Fucksteak's "real" climbers.
I want good days with good people, nothing more.

the spray list has other uses than just spraying. i like to just keep track of what i do so that i can actually remember it and also so that i can justify (or not) getting on something harder because i have enough base of climbs belwo that grade. then again maybe ima spray whore.
Sand inhibits the production of toughtosterone, so get it out and send.
you could just write it all down instead of making it public.pawilkes wrote:the spray list has other uses than just spraying. i like to just keep track of what i do so that i can actually remember it and also so that i can justify (or not) getting on something harder because i have enough base of climbs belwo that grade.

I have all my routes ticked off in my guidebooks for that purpose exactly.JB wrote:you could just write it all down instead of making it public.pawilkes wrote:the spray list has other uses than just spraying. i like to just keep track of what i do so that i can actually remember it and also so that i can justify (or not) getting on something harder because i have enough base of climbs belwo that grade.
Funny dude, I trusted there were others out there like me. Scene has changed a ton in the last few years and the spray has been plucking my nerves more than usual. I've been thinking about this a lot lately and I think that's one of the main reasons I live in Lex but consider Rocktown my local crag.JB wrote: Charlie, preach on, but I am BETTER than you becuase of my spray list:

I've never been botheered by people talking about what they have done. The type of spray that bugs me is when I'm talking to someone about where I'm headed, and, knowing I can't climb that hard, start tossing out names like crazy.
Example: 'Hey where are you headed today?'
'I'm going to grag X.'
'REALLY? boy, you should get on the rifleman! It was so great when I did it!'
'...Uh, dude, I only climb 5.10'
'Oh, sooooo sorry.'
Its really annoying when its someone who already knows how hard you climb.
But parhaps I'm defensive.
