Does anyone know of an affordable hotel/motel that allows dogs in the RRG area?

Their is a hostel, down next to the red. Im not sure if it's still open I think it is. They charge 12$ a night. It's not hetel but it is somewhere warm to sleep and a hot shower. Plus they have a cafe.

P.s. If you go this route bring a good sleeping pad.

The hostel looks very nice but does not allow dogs inside. You would have to leave him/her tied up outside all night. Most doggies would not like that.

I've heard that the Lil' Abners in Stanton is better, but not sure about animals.

Thanks!
I'll try calling the Stanton Lil' Abners to check it out!! Is Stanton a large town worthy of a rest day or would it be better to go to Lexington? Mostly we'll be camping, but a couple days in a hotel could be nice too.We are wicked excited to
get out there n' start climbing!! We'll be arriving the 5th of march and staying until
the 16th or so,If anyone wants to try and get together for a day of climbing let us
know, that would be cool.

You are better off coming into Lexington, about an hours drive. Much more to do.

Stanton is small. About 11 miles from the Red. Richmond is nice with lots of restaurants and the motels are cheaper there than in Lexington. If you are looking for entertainment; I agree with Wes, Lexington is your best bet. If you just want to chill and have good food and drinks, I'd try Richmond. There are some nice motels right on I-75. It's a bit closer than Lex, but the route to Richmond is two-lane and curvy. If you aren't used to Kentucky driving, I'd rate it a 5.13. :P

If you stay in Lexington, I know that the Holiday Inn on Newtown Pike allows dogs. Many interstate dives probably do too though.
