was it alan that said he did sound for him? there's nothing on any of his album's that isn't fantastic. i could keep them on repeat for days.

(but i'm not really a rock climber...i can't send 12's.)

If I put a blues CD on at the gym, everybody complains-- "I can't climb to this music!!" I don't have any keb mo, but it's on my list. Which album should I get first?

i don't climb well to it...i like more adrenaline geared music when i climb, but for the ride home...nothing better.

I couln't climb to blues. Not even good blues. I like it, but couldn't climb to it.
Bop, though, would be the best kind. Did you ever notice that there are body movement that go to certain styles of music. I like the uptempo bop that makes your head shake slightly from side to side while tapping your foot at 140 bpm.

Parker
Gilespe

That would make good climbing music. But it would have to be bouldering.

Kato, let me know if you like the Keb Mo cd. I got all nostalic for it & listened to it in my car all day yesterday!

In the gym I prefer very high tempo. Crystal Method kicks a lot of ass for gym music. Ya know...they have a new disc out.

i play a little bit of taj mahal at rocksport and i normally don't get any complaints... normally. Might be something to try if you are truly wanting to climb to some blues.
