The guys that shot the summer games for SI were using 6mp dSLR's. Canon Mark IIs is 16mp, but like 8K, the Mark II is around 4K. So, this is the best one out there right now under 4K.

Megapixels just don't seem to matter that much, since unless you are doing full posters, the photos are going to be hella shrunk anyway.

Lens is the key for sure. I really, really like my tamron 28-75, F2.8. With that and the higher ISO you can use with dSLR, you can really get good photos in not perfect light.

glad you are liking the new camera, though remember Wes, just because you like it so much doesn't mean I'm not doing to travel 1500 miles, break in, and steal the damn thing! :x

seriously, nice shots, I really like the one of the draws!
