Thanks; I hired a guy to get me started in 1996. That was the first climb
he took me on. Ever since then I have wanted to do it myself. I think I got enough beta to get me there. I appreciate everyones help.

Karla led it the last time we were there with just two pieces.

Haven't climbed it in a while, but last time I thought about doing it with no gear....but that is a diferent thread.
I do remember first getting into trad and Motha was not really in my comfort zone.It is diferent from most trad routes at the Red.
You've been on it before Enoch, just take your time with it, and place your gear from comfortable stances.
I've heard of a person decking on it.
I think Big Country, or Ozmosis, or Accentionists' freind was one who decked.

I've led it with no gear.

There are a ton of placements, just be comfortable with horizontals. Great climb for those tricams everyone hates.

I've soloed the route before too, last time it was to hang a rope for some gumbies who weren't really sure how to lead belay yet. They offered me a belay, but I felt more comfortable without one from them...

There are ton of pockets that take .75 and #1 camalots really well too, never placed a tricam on it though, sorry
