Newpapers and auction listings. There should be at least one local auctioneer (sp?). Call up their office and ask for a list of auctions this month. Go and see what you can see.longlegsrule wrote:how do I find out about estate sales?
I worked one a few years ago and some interesting stuff was sold. The house for $25k (nice small starter home), garden supplies, and I kid you not, 6 cans of freon.
Screw you guys. I'm going bowling.
Classifieds section of the paper. Visit the locations that have stereo equipment and some may have a very detailed list of whats up for grab. I got a record player this way for $50 and the needle alone is worth over $1000.longlegsrule wrote:how do I find out about estate sales?

PM me what you are looking for. I go to a lot of auctions, and have some contacts who could be looking out for the right player for you. Let me know style, $$$ willing to spend, etc. Wish I had kept my old console. I gave it to the church.
Cool!(my 1,000 post!)

What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.
