Spaas Creek
anyone have some good beta for finding this crag? also, does anyone know if the routes would stay dry - especially stranger than paradise? johhny?

Well, there used to be a very muddy crossing that could swallow a truck, but I think it's been closed by the FS (they probably hauled off the junker too). Anyway, after you cross the stream, the old roadbed turns left. Walk along it for a few hundred feet, then head straight up the hill. I turn uphill at a spot that seemed like somebody was growing pot. Kind of a flat area that would be good for agriculture before you head uphill. If you're on the road and you come to a clearing, you're way too far.
If you find rock, heading left will lead you to a major arete of the rock near that 5.8. On around the left is Ice Cream. To find Paradise, head rightish and you should see a straight in seam on a reddish wall. To it's right is a dihedral that hasn't been climbed that leads to an overhanging area. Seems like there is an easy approach from the left to the top of this route. Details might be fuzzy since it's been a long time since I've been there.
