i always have gotten the impression from ladies that they do not want to be hit on or be picked up when they are out climbing. if they are climbing to hook up with people it reinforces the idea that some men have that they are only out there to meet others for a relationship. don't get me wrong here, i do believe that women (well most of them) climb for the sake of climbing and i fully support it. i know how you're feeling though paul, i mean climber girls are great because

A. they climb and will be more likely to put up with us
B. they are usually in decent shape because they climb

that said it is tough to know if they are interested without looking lik you're out there to meet women. i don't know if this has been coherent or repeditive. if it was horribly written it is only because women are such a wildly confusing and intreging subject that my hands can't keep up with my mind and my mind can't keep up with, well itself.

oh yeah, paul, if you're getting date offers take advantage of them, you never know what may come of them. maybe another blizzard 8)

shoot! how in the heck do you think i got my boyfriend and various girlfriends? i got them all while climbing, fo-sho!

it is like a meat market out there and paul, if you'd just update your photo to your truer self i think the girls would just start to swoon!!!

don't sell yourself short Paul. you are one sexy sensitive (if slightly hairy but not at all greasy just sorta sweaty) awesome male climber!

I'm sure you could find some sort of training program for that. Just make sure you stretch afterward. I'm afraid to imagine interval workouts!
