Ray you know I'm computer stupid so take that into consideration when answering.
How do I post a picture within a post if that picture is not at a URL? For instance an image I've scanned and have stored on my hard drive, any way to put that image into a post on this (or any) board without it having a URL?
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Hey Steve, I'm not Ray, but maybe I can help. In a nutshell, your pics need to be on a computer that everyone has access to view. When you embed the html to display the pic, it's really just a link to pull the photo up - the text you enter doesn't contain the actual photo data. So unless you make your computer a server, you need to host them somewhere publicly. Capice?

If they are climbing related, upload them here and link to the url in your post. (Right click on the photo, select properties and copy the full url.)

Thanks. As I posed the question I figured that would be the answer, but just wanted to check.
