Size matters

There's a route at Roadside that I know I could send if only I could get my fingers in the crux pocket. Does anyone else have this problem?

What... what does this mean?!? I...

So you've got great big hands and little stubby arms? Or your hands are so big you can't fit them into a hold? Or are you thirteen years old (I don't think there's a single 13yo that has all their parts the right size)?

I just have this image in my head of a little kid with gigantic hands. Please. Dispell this image.

Will my fingers get longer and thinner with age or shorter and fatter? Is there any literature on this subject?

there's a tribe in Africa who have stretching things down to an art. I think all you need to do is get a bunch of really tight brass rings, wear prolly about 30 on each finger or so, presto stubby fingers are a thing of the past
