You go girl, and you said you've never climbed before. She made it halfway up a 5.9 crack her first time on rock and hung once! Nice moves, we have you in our clutches now girly..

so we are in agreement..it is superficial pumping of egos...I always hear on here how people climb for themselves, climb for nature, etc. (I have always said that is BS, btw)

now, giving props to make sure they come back is the rage....sigh..and, oh yes...yawn...

A friend of mine sent V10 his first day on real rock. Not trying to belittle the Africa thing or anything...........it just reminded me of him. It's amazing what kind of strength pulling on plastic can do for you.

Yup, and Jenibbler has never climbed in a gym either. I just think it's great when someone who came out with some fears and anxieties about trying climbing does so well her first time. It's just cool to be there when someone has a notable accomplishment wether brand new to the sport or a 5.14 climbing animal..
