Of course it isn't and of course she's going climbing tomorrow. I tried to talk her out of it...

Yeah, right.

Yeah...don't tell my doctor. Turns out it was a hairline fracture that the xrays missed. It's not healing so great & I was told (on Friday) to stay off it for 2 weeks.

TWO WEEKS?? Comon! That's torture when it's 60 & sunny at the red!
I call it active rehab.

Thanks again everyone for all the encouragement. I'm constantly surprised by this community.

there are plenty of places you can get to on crutches. and if you are self-disciplined enough, you can climb with just one foot. do a search, there is a prior thread about one-footed climbing.

KD had her on walking sticks and she climbed like a pro yesterday. Even with a sprained ankle wrapped halfway up her calf she was using long stems and little toe-ins all day. She's gonna have to get a smaller car to be able to afford the gas to the Gorge this summer, I'm thinking.

I was thinking of one of those plug-in cars!! Gas is supposed to get up to $3.00 a gallon this year & my xterra sucks it down. If I go to the red twice a week I'm at $90/week for gas.

Are there any hybrid cars that aren't gay as hell?

I miss the red Westerra, it made getting around in the southern region nice. But it did suck the gas down for sure. I really miss the sentra that blew up in KS - 33MPG is very nice. The van gets around 22MPG, which isn't to bad. Worth to have a nice dry place to sleep, I guess. Although sleeping in the Westerra wasn't so bad...

Geez Wes! Image Size>SMALLER.

Yeah...I'll camp out the back for sure. There's a Civic hybrid that gets like 650 mp fill up.

Better? Yep, I took the bottom's of the back seats out, and almost never put them back in.
