I dunno, it was pretty close to self-hijaking.

so after all this talk and flirting i am wondering if she realizes that while we may be self-indulged to some degree, we are definately decent climbing partners. eh, eh???

I live for derailing things. It's sorta like watching Nascar. You hope no one gets hurt but you can't wait to see them crash.
Go to the gyms here in town. You'll meet some cool women to climb with. The vibe is better at Climbtime but it's mostly bouldererers that dont go to the red,so you might like RQ better for hooking up and roping up.Climb with Yasi once or twice, shes inspiring and she can pull down hard.

Thanks, for the advice ynot, and was just teasing you by the way, hope you didn't take anything personal. I went to CT tonight and I do like the vibe there but I guess Im just not good at meeting new people. Ive never been one to just walk up to somebody and strike up a conversation. That's why I started this thread. I was hoping to make some friends online first and then meet em at a gym. Im terriblely shy in crowds I'm afraid and the group at CT tonight seemed pretty tight nit. Climbing clicks usually are. Im just an old loner I suppose and am not even close to being able to keep up with those ladies at CT. I was once, but that was a long time ago.

And I would much rather be outside too. I dunno I suppose if I hang around this board long enough I will end up hooking up with some kool people to climb with.

All you guys so far seem pretty interesting. I do love to thread spar, I hope I didn't offend anyone for real. I guess I was a little humbled tonight at CT and bailed after an hour or so.. :(

Kiribell, The girls club is a pretty tight group for sure, but if they let us hang with them, you would do just fine.

And, you are always welcome to climb with us sometime, although, there will be men around. And, if you ever get free time during the week, I usually get out at least one day.

Well I'll be going there pretty regularly. I defintely need to get back into climbing frequently. I really am not a man hater. I am a trucking dispatcher, ex-trucker myself and am even a commercial pilot so being around men is where I always seem to be. I guess I was just longing for the old days when I had a female partner in Arizona. We just had this great bond when climbing. It seemed like we gained total control of the rock from each other. I had that kind of chemistry with my first partner too. His name was Jazz and damn could that man climb. Both him and Angel seemed to bring out the best in my ability. It was great... I miss em both terribly.

Just let me know what night you will be there and I'll show up...

Well there are two pilots on team suck, so at least you would have something to chat about. I don't get ot CT to much, I usually hit the red one or two times during the week, or the best home gym in the state if the weather is bad or I actually have to work. I have been meaning to get up there though, so maybe one day next week.

I am kinda a free agent when it comes to partners - I climb with all kinds of people. But, I can see how it would be cool to have a regular partner.

I thought it was great fun. I should be in the woodshop right now ,glueing wood.
Those girls are friendly. They even let an old bearded traddy like me hang with them. Meeting the young poeple climbing restored my faith in the younger generation. If I could only get my daughter to date climbers instead of that bum...
I warm up on the easy boulder problems and then work the cracks along the walls. I'm with you on being out in the woods and real rock and a solid partner.
Give Rockquest a try.You can post on the bulliten board for a partner.
