Wuzzup..

Im looking for a regualr climbing partner who can do weekends with a camping nut like little ole me..

Im 35 and once apon a time I was climbing at about a 5.12 fluidly. Now Im working on getting back to that level after a long hiatus. Ive got a decent sport rack and a Jeep for transport..

If your female, and looking for a regular gimmie a shout. Your skill level is unimportant and I would be happy to teach but I do insist you have the basic gear..

I do indoor in winter only and am a pretty Zen climber. I am not competetive natured so if your looking for intense Im not a good choice for a partner..

Kiribell, You are in luck, as there is a killer group of women climbers in cinci/lexington/ the 'ville. I am sure you will be able to find at least a couple people to climb with.

Though I wouldn't quite go as far as saying that all guys are like that, those who are trying to hook up with a chick they don't know for a climbing partner usually do have an angle.

I enjoy the company of women over men, call me a feminist..I am not a man hater by any means. I just like climbing with women because it is usually about the rock and not about who can do what better or faster.

I was once as competitve as any guy with climbing. Now I'm 35, mellow and its just about being out in the woods with kewl people these days..

Kiribell-
I'll be in the Red all of may and most of june and would love to climb! I wanted to find some women to climb with because the encouragement, drive, and movements are all way different than climbing with men, who seem to always say " just jump for it!". :D I'll be down there this sunday, monday, and tuesday as well. Let me know!

I kind of resent that. It's great to climb with someone who can outclimb you, guys, gals, it doesn't matter. It's inspiring. They can help make you better. They help keep things in perspective. And if all else fails, they can retrieve my draws! :lol: It's a shame that things have to turn into a hormone/ego fest.

Kiribell, I could just as easy say that women are lazy and more concerned about how they look then how they climb. But, that might only apply to a very small percent of women climbers. Much like your generalzation of men. But, do what ever works for you. I like to climb with women and men. And kids and dogs. By myself and with 12 people. It can all be good, or it can all be bad. Much depends on the atittude you bring to the crag.

im all about the T and A as everyone on this site knows. so if ytou wanna climb with me ill check your sexy lady booty out and tell you how hot you look when you climb. but hey i know you would climb with me anyways cause you climb way harder than me and i hate it when ladies climb harder than me. it rreally hurts my self esteem, and all i wanna do is go and cry in a corner. have fun scallin the rocs this weekend i know i will. peace out mommy :lol:
