Great report (and pics) Squeeze!
We've been there twice and really dig it.
You can buy beer in Arkansas, just take the hiway left before the Missouri line. It may work out to be about the same mileage as Branson area but without the traffic.
You can then take the back way back to HCR. Nice drive.
Tell Jared to lay off the Micky Dees. Looks like he eats WAY too much of that s**t!

squeeze,

did you visit Schmick's land which is adjacent to HCR, and boast even more routes than HCR? My only complaint about HCR is the height...another 15 feet of vert, and you'd have paradise....Northern Arkansas has as much, if not more, climbing than the Red..and most of it is undiscovered (that from my local source down there.)

Yeah, we saw some of it. He is the owner of the Upper Limits climbing gym. It looked like there were already several routes up past the boundary fence for HCR. The rock in Arkansas seems to go on forever... but you're right it could be a little bit taller in places.
