diggum, try http://sovranastore.com/lavwholbean.html
It's the only place I've found that imports it. The Oro (gold) is pretty much the standard over there. The Grand Espresso is pretty good, it's got a bit of a chocolatey flavor to it. Those are the only two I've tried so far.
Oh yeah, they're sold in either .5 kg (~1.1 pound) or 1kg (~2.2 pound) bags, be sure to check. It runs about $8-$11 a pound.

french press all the way. careful, though: there's a lot of suspended coffee bean in the drink and it can give you a pretty hard buzz. and for another big reason to drink coffee, check this out:

Pretty good, actually. I like the blend, and the press thing work just fine. I need to work out how much to make though - I thought I added enough for 12oz, but a guess a bit of water gets sucked into the grounds. So I had a nice cup and a half.
The coffee thing might even get me to eat breakfast now as well. I never really was much on that meal, but, it was cool to sit and drink coffee, eat breakfast, and catch up on email, news, and bbs's at Kava in Bishop. So, I might start trying to do that here more. Rather then my usual breakfast of a red bull and maybe a granola bar while driving to work...

This seems like it works better for me. If I eat very much in the morning, I am hungry all day and have less energy at night to train. If I skip breakfast, and just eat an early lunch (10:30 - 11:00ish) then I am less hungry and have more energy. Same with days I climb - no/very light breakfast means I climb better. Coffee is better then red bull in the morning - I am already hooked for sure.Alan Evil wrote:Fuck that. Drink coffee. Don't eat.
