Lengthwise, a mix is good, with mostly med seems to work pretty well. I mostly have shorter draws, with only a couple longer ones.

Andrew, you need the stiff ones for that extra reach, right?

These people are asses. Order totals 137. Everything has free shipping aside from one sale item. Even though they ALL go in the same damn box they will charge me shipping on that one item. I even called customer service & she was a complete beyotch! Then I tried to apply the 20% to the non-sale items & it wouldn't take it. And again...the customer service lady was a bitch & said there was nothing she could do about it.

Mgear has always been very positive with me, nto sure what happened.

Call me at 859-230-3567. I will help take care of this.

I just set up my account so the code may not be in their system yet, I will call and see whats up.

Its 15% off not 20, just fyi for everyone. Shipping I cant do anything about.

Since you are just starting to lead climb, I'd try climbing with other people's draws. Find the ones that fit your style and go with those. I have 2 sets of draws: those I bought when I first started leading and then the ones I use all the time. The first ones were cheaper, had a narrower gate opening and my fat fingers kept getting hung up in it when clipping. I now have the Positrons, which I really like.

On your order, can you drop the sale item, get the free shipping and the 20% discount.

I know that my fingers are fat enough that I would need a wider gate. I did put the positrons in the order.

They told me to call after the order was placed & they would do the discount.

RRO, No worries...I got a bad customer service rep.

I called again & placed the order over the phone with a very very nice man. He gave me free shipping b/c 3 of the 4 items had free shipping on them. Much better experience that time. He was helpful & courteous.

If I were judging their company by that first girl...I wouldn't have ordered from them again.

The 15% is only off ONE Non-Sale Item though...just so everyone else knows. It can't be applied to the entire order. But still saved me some money so THANKS!

I actually bought exactly what lordjim suggested. <thanks  >

Petzl Express dogbones with BD positrons and BD hotwires. The positrons were on clearance.
