I'm headed to TN this summer for a week long vacation and I was wondering....
Does anyone know of some really good places to climb around Knoxville?

Do you want good or near Knoxville? How near?
Cherokee Bluffs is right in Knoxville on the other side of the river. Interesting place, just don't go with dogs or kids. You'll know why when you read the topos.
I keep on meaning to hit up Devil's Racetrack just to scope it out but I haven't had a chance yet. Lucy in the sky is on this falls list, about 45min drive + ?? hike.
Look rock is about 45/50 min away. Interesting area. The parents may like it if they aren't climbers b/c of a park type place near by.
All sorts of stuff is within 2 hrs of Knoxville. Most of the stuff around Chatanoga(sp?) is within two hours depending on which side of the city it's on.
That should keep you busy for a week.
