Hi,
I've been climbing on and off for the past 4 years. Mostly indoors but on real rock, top-roped, 3-4 times. I have all of my own gear and a pretty good rack started. I've read John Long's books, Rock Climbing, Advance Rock Climbing and Climbing Anchors. I think I understand the concepts and principles but, as we all know, applying them is a different story all together. So, if there are any veteran climbers out there that enjoy teaching, or you just want an excuse to go climbing. Drop me a line.
I'd like to spend a fair amount if time building anchors. Then perhaps top rope and do some mock leading and have my placement critiqued. Finally lead a really easy climb, like C sharp or B flat. In return I'll pay for the dinner of your choice and all of the beer you can quaff.
BTW, I'm 42, soon to be 43, married with two children. So, I want to go about this in a controlled and safe manner.
Thanks,
Al
I have the weekend of March 19th open.

The best way to pay for teaching. Now you might be in trouble with the "all the beer" part.everready wrote:... In return I'll pay for the dinner of your choice and all of the beer you can quaff.
Screw you guys. I'm going bowling.
