New Crag???

Post by One-Fall »

I don't want to give up anyone's secret crag so I will be as discrete as I can. We were walking the cliffline last week in Coal Bank Hollow and found 5 bolted routes all with drop-in anchors. If these are yours or you know who bolted them, please drop me a line.

Thanks,

lee

Purgatory is an incredibly sweet place, but I am talking on the other side, not too far from Solar Collector. Two small verticle climbs, two slightly overhung pocketed lines, and one line all by itself.

Not to be critical of your post, but I think Allah has put in all Dynabolt Gold expansion bolts which are becoming the norm. Not drop-ins........hope I never see those.

He's using Red Heads? How do these compare with RAWLS (Powers) 5-piece? I've heard people shun other Red Head equipment.

I looked into 'em. I can get a corporate discount at $1.37/bolt. Fastenal has 'em.

I saw those routes too. The two cool looking steep ones had green tags on the first bolt. Do green tags mean open project or what?

There is no one in this country that is man enough to try my open projects, all that "strong" guys are to scared to come to the red and get on the hard projects, cause they dont want to fail in the Jug haul crag of the world.
