I've seen some stuff and heard from people about doing all 50 in a year. That seems pretty amazing. THe logistics alone would take awhile to research.

I've found a great mountain website. summitpost.com

It has some of the best mountain pictures I've ever seen. I found pics of peaks that I have nevr been able to find anywhere else.

Got a plan for Mt Mitchell or Mt Roger coming up on the 4th of Feb. I hope it snows.

You can crash at my place, only 30-45 min to the trailheads!

I found out that all the trails to Mt Mitchell are closed due to storm damage. I could just drive up there, but that just sucks. SO I guess its Mt Rogers in atwo weeks, maybe a side trip to Black Mtn

I've got family out that way. Their mailing address is in Del Norte.

Here's me on top of Mt. Blanca. There were a lot of forest fires then so visibility was only around 80 miles to the south and less than 100 miles to the west (behind me in that pic). It's a bad scan also so the color's all wrong.

Oh, and it's not a high point either but I'm proud of it.
