So how's the roads (specifically the highway) between Winchester and Slade? The weather said they were gonna get 5 inches...

Not sure about over that way, but the BG parkway was totally fine this morning. Most roads seem like they are in pretty good shape.

It was pretty funny in Louisville yesterday. Jefferson County (Louisville proper) schools closed at Noon in anticipation of snow that didn't start falling until around 3:30 pm. Even then we got maybe 1/2" at the most. My county (adjacent to Jeff.Co.)announced at 7 am a 1 hour bus delay. My kids were crushed.

Dang me too.. for some reason still get excited about those snow closing announcements, even though I still have to work.

I was wondering the same thing.

As for the roads they are fine. Interstates and parkways should be clear. Some of the back roads in and around the Gorge will probabbly have slick spots. Like the hill down from Sky Bridge Arch or the hill down into Big Sinking. Those are real fun when its icy.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Well, I drove to Delaware Friday morning and had an interesting trip through West Virginia on I-64. All the roads were fine except the stretch between Beckley and the Virginia state line. Kinda scary there for a minute.
