I don't think that law applies to spirits, though.
They have a similar law in IN that says you're not allowed to sell game (fish, deer, etc.) but the law doesn't say anything about not using it as barter. Standard practice is to give some of the game back to the landowner if you're on someone else's land. I guess that means you should drop off some shine for the guy who owns the land your still is on.
