1) Porter Jarrard (sport climbing introduction, plus, he brought mass sport development to the area)
2) Miguel (no other climbing atmosphere like Miguel's exists... and if they do, they do so without pizza!)
3) Shannon S.S. (Starting and carrying the RRGCC on her back).
4) Jason Burton (for being the first person to take Red River Gorge to the next level... online!).

My list
Tom Souders- The most influential Trad climber- incredibly prolific and visionary in pushing the grades into the gymnastic realm in a time when everyone else sucked.
Porter - his impact is still felt everyday we all go climbing (someone else said it - for better or worse. you decide)
John - for helping put the area on the map with his guide books and his long hard slog with the RRGCC, and all of his route contribution
Rick and Liz Weber- I don't think we can yet fully appreciate what Rick has done, but I predict in the next twenty years we will know that his leadership and philanthropy in single handedly expanding by 2x and locking up the access to forever the highest primium stone will go down as a watershed event in the history of the Red.

How about......
Porter
Porter
Porter
and.........Porter!
Tom S, M.H., others had the virgin hay days, but porter took it to the next level.........for better or worse.
John and Miquel, of course!
I think Brian (flyin') Mcray and maybe Chris found the lode so that ..........is quite significant!
Dave is the best climber to come from here, but Katie made a real impact herself.
Bill R, did his share..........and I can hardly wait to see what Andrew and the youth can do!
Obviously, to pick just four is really hard cause we need to thank all those that participate ..........like a hell of a lot of trail workers, etc.
thanks liz and rick! the significance of your gift will only grow!

Grant Stephens- for the hand full of routes he did back in the day. Also for what he is currently doing in the red, that almost no one in the climbing community knows about. But will affect us all for a very very long time!
Don McGlone-for what he is doing outside the red that almost no one in the climbing knows about.
Terry Kindred- for the known reasons
S.S.-Smith-for helping to secure climbing in the red and out (she helped secure climbing in the only KY state park to allow climbing, Pine Mtn. Trail)
