i read something in a recent climbing mag about an outdoor trad comp in texas, anybody know where it was held? they gave out rodeo buckles for trophies.
anyone know of any other trad climbing comps? i heard something about one in wyoming. but i might have imagined that.

Somehow trad climbing and competition just seem antithetical to me.

I remember first learning to climb at E-Rock. What a great place for a comp! If you can go, it would be well worth the trip.

the comp at the new,last year had a bouldering,sport,and trad divisions.

are you kidding..tradsters are some of the most competitive cretins out there. we have to bad mouth those sporties because they are posing in an inferior bastardization of our beloved sport. what would a good tradster be without a chip on his shoulder, and an elitist disposition towards all other genres?
