Morning sun - Military and Left Flank
Mercy was in the sun pretty much all day (until 3pm) on Friday, and around that time, Sex Farm was just starting to lose sun. Roadside from the .10's up to Way Up Yonder was in the sun all day on Saturday. Awesome weather (until this morning)!

So we're approaching the shortest day of the year. Has anyone noted the arc of the sun right now? My back yard won't see any sun for a few weeks now whereas in the summer it gets sun all morning.
Does anyone know if there are any Indian astrology sites in the Red? I've always wanted to see one of those solstice events at an archeological site like in some of the Western sites or the Mayan pyramids.
When I build my own house there will be a tiny window in a peak and a set of vents through the walls of the house so at the solstices and equinoxes different pictures or pieces of art will be lit directly by the sun only at noon on that day. I've wanted to do that in a building for years. There's no mystery in modern homes.

I'd love to see that. I missed the trip to Chaco but I've spent a lot of time in the Grand Gulch Primitive area and I've been to Mesa Verde and some other places. I know people that have been to Rainbow Bridge. Crazy stuff out there like a small building on a standing rock easily 30 feet from the canyon edge with a 400ft+ drop all around. How did they get out there and what did they do when they were there?
