Has anyone done this route at Indian Creek (RRG)? If so, do you end up in the big hueco that Dangling Angle ends in? Is there gear on the face after the crack ends?

The Indian Castle cave route is 4th class. A real good route to take your non-climbing friends up! The last time We were up it was @ 10 years ago in March with icicles and 6" of snow! So soon as we get some good ole winter weather gather a group of friends and head to the Gorge. Hike up sit in the woods awhile and build up your courage. Attack the castle by way of the secret tunnel. Upon the top proclaim the rock free and ready for the climbers to come!

We went down it unroped and came out the backside from where the route starts.
I thought I saw another way out the front,is that the 4th class? The back way is a 25 foot chimney,or can you scramble up chockstones in the back of it?
theres another OW there close.I guess its been done?Maybe it doesnt have anything for an anchor?

The guide says 512 and Tbone have done it,Ray. I guess tbone is making cooing noises at the baby trying to get a smile and 512 is busy shmoozing a northern lady friend.

512 can't remember shit. T-Bone doesn't forget a damn thing though so I'm sure he'll remember.

I tried to get beta for some 5.8 from Spoonman once. All I got was"Dang, that was back in the day." I guess thats why the call it obscure trad. Sometimes I find some cool routes that have been long forgotten. Indian Creek is so cool you could spend all day just exploring. Then you wonder why you only got 3 routes in.

I dont forget too much, but i only did that route one time. I am fairly certain that doesnt end at the same place as dangling angle. It has been 14 yrs or so.
