Yoga
I know there are a bunch of people on here who are big fans of yoga and probably more like me who tried it but never really got it. I'm wondering what's the deal? Why do you do it? I tried it a few times and never seemed to notice much. If anything, I was more tense afterward from being frustrated with it. I know it could probably help me out a ton, but it's hard to get motivated about doing something when you don't really understand it. I guess what I'm looking for is advice on why you do it and how to get started without being frustrated all the time. Thx.
Ticking is gym climbing outdoors.
It's working wonders (along with massage therapy and traction) for my bulging disks. My condition has improved over 50% in two weeks. Pretty crazy especially since they were telling me I would need surgery 2 weeks ago. I think I'll be healed in about 2 months.
Also, the normal lower back pain I usually feel is gone. Haven't felt it in a week.
It's also helped me to focus on my breathing and relax a little bit. I'm a pretty nervous energy kind of person though so of course I'm going to feel the benefits. If you already have good breathing patterns or don't have any back pain then you probably won't feel the effects.
Be sure you're holding some of the poses for at least 6 breaths too. I find that the longer you hold the poses, the more core strength you'll feel working. Keep in mind that I'm a total gumby at it though so I may not know what the hell I'm talking about.

If you work at it long enough you'll be able to suck vegetable oil through a straw into your bladder. What a great party trick!
I guess if you're patient enough you'd be able to suck yogurt through your urethra as well. I think I'd avoid the fruit on the bottom for that, though.
