hey... The Dixie Craggers Atlas is a guidebook with TN, GA, AL, and NC(maybe) in it... I would suggest buying that or buming it off of someone... I would mind hitting up Obed with ya if your looking for some partners... take it easy and have fun!

No NC in Dixie Craggers Atlas and good luck finding it, it's out of print. Dr. Topo has topos for Foster Falls and Obed so they may be some help.
Screw you guys. I'm going bowling.

I don't think it's out of print. Are you sure you aren't thinking of the Deep South Climber's Companion?

We have the Dixie Craggers Atlas in stock @ Vertical eXcape... I believe. We boxed up a bunch of our books for retail since we are remodeling. I'm sure I could find it for you if you wanted to drive your ass to Evansville.

The NEW Dixie Craggers Atlas is going to be published... sometime. There is almost 3 times as much info going into the new edition. The guidebook author (forget name?) is either going to publish the whole guidebook on cd rom or print the guidebook in three seperate books. Too much info for one book. Anyhow, I get my inside info from Scott Griggs (author of King's Bluff guide) who gave the Dixie Craggers author the rights to publish his info in the new DC edition. I guess this guy donates a crap load of money and time to the SCC, and Scott has been taking the profits from his guide and giving it to the SCC... so basically working out the same.

But, uh, call if you want that guide: 812-479-6887 = VX
Not a bitch.
