I can get a new backpack for Christmas! My question is;Will one rated at 2900
cubic inches be big enough for a rack including a 4.5 and a 5 and a couple bros plus my lunch and shoes. Im not worried about getting a rope in there.

Yes, without a doubt. My Bora 75 fits a full rack, including one of all the big sizes, harness, shoes, food, etc. And I can strap a rope to the top of it, if I'm feeling especially masochistic. Congrats on getting a new pack!

What's wrong with that Korean War era canvas pack you've been using, ynot?

Its seriously uncomfortable.Hike in and out of Mariba with it and you'll understand.
I have been watching to see if the catalog gets moved so I'll know if she ordered the new one. I dropped another hint to Courtney about it just to be sure.
It's tough, hey it lasted about 50 years! It just bites to hike for very long with it.

Umm where those cams in the poopy pack...
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
