Better not go to Solar Collector. I hear there is a cranky wood rat there!

Wrong, J-Rock. He has a "Welcome Climbers!" mat at the entrance of the hueco.

Yeah, but he just prophetizes ... I think he just reads from a bunch of Chinese fortune cookies that some climber discarded near the cliff.

Accuweather is by far superior. I went to HP40 this weekend. Every other site said rain on Saturday. Accuweather said no rain. It was perfectly dry Saturday. Weather.com is hopelessly pessemistic with their predictions. I've wasted too many weekends not climbing because they said rain when it turned out fine.
Today I quit my job. And then I told my boss to go fuck himself, and then I blackmailed him for almost sixty thousand dollars. Pass the asparagus.

Actually weather.com got it right this weekend. You just have to be obsessive compulsive about checking it!

Accuweather generally has a more optimistic outlook when you're looking several days in advance. WEather.com is more pessimistic.

GOES8, the best thing to happen to weather prediction since doppler radar.
