Which trail do you recommend?

Post by Meadows »

I have a friend who is traveling here for a day of hiking this weekend. I've done only a little hiking around the Red and I need a recommendation of a trail that will give us 3-4 hours of hiking. Please include directions to the trailhead from Mntn Pkwy.

Muchas gracias!

The Rock Bridge trail is the prettiest trail I have done. The loop doesnt take that long but you can hook up with other trails to stretch it out.It goes along the Swift camp, has some falls and a cool rock bridge.

Agree! Beautiful, majestic trees, a sweet waterfall, and the only natural bridge in the gorge. Hmm, sounds so good, I wanna go!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Yeah, I hate all of those artificial sandstone bridges.

No, silly, it's the only natural bridge in the gorge. It's the only one that actually crosses water. The others are arches; misnamed bridges.
