I heart Pebble Wrestling
HP 40 was sooo freakin' fun, Jill and I had a rockin' time. My tips are shot, my elbows somehow shreded, my shoulders ache, but boy do I feel good. Best of all the little labels were still on the problems so navigating was made even easier and I was able to update the Dr Topo print out. Friday rain gave way to some rays of sun so we bouldered til dusk when a thick fog rolled in (way cool Lord of the Rings vibe). Saturday never really warmed up, but I was able to unlock the feet beat for Bum Boy and it went down. Sunny Sunday saw some others short 3s went, I love bear huggin' big fat slopers. The sun warmed Jill and she was way close to getting Bum Boy, with my foot beat to boot (she usually scoffs at my climbing advise). A sweet trip of shreded tips, bro deal on an awesome hotel room and good food at Mater's and El Tap. I heart pebble wrestling.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
Sounds like you all had a kick ass time ! Bum Boy is a great line, congrats on the send. Next time you can start working Millipede. When are you rolling with the crew ? We are hitting the south on Thanksgiving break, you and Jill are welcome to join.
I heart pebble wrestling...... That should be a bumper sticker.

Rockin' time fo sho! I was trying to spray all hard core pebble wrestler like, but it didn't come out to good. I tried to get started on mili working in with some 17 year old kids with endless energy, at any rate that one will take some working. So many problems so little skin. There were some short cool problems just to the right in a 'hallway' called Double Groove and Dope, great practice for hugging sloper like top outs. I love that feeling of sending a problem and then relfecting on all five moves. I always forget how much fun bouldering is until I actually get on the small stone. We'll try and roll with the crew at least once this winter...ya'll heart pebble wrestlin' more than me. Not sure what the Turkey Day weekend plans are as of yet, but Turkey Day proper will be work...stupid Neilson ratings.
