Now that little Ben is gone, I guess other people in the Midwest have a chance at winning comps.

and now Ben is winning out west...

Actually the open was won by this guy named Frank, from Indianapolis *I think*.
WOW! That man could climb!!!! It was sick and inspiring at the same time.

But really, the kids there were super amazing! Those 10 year old girls could kick my butt anyday. Not that that is saying much but they had an amazing ability to read the problems and then execute the moves effortlessly.

Frank Cleveland, likely. he's won most (not sure if closer to 2/3 or 3/4, or even more) of the ABS comps he's entered in.

yes it was cleveland and yes nancy and autumn were there too...I'm pretty sure they took the cake...guess someone should post specifics...

i missed the milk crate thingy...ran out for dinner with a girlfriend that was also judging...heard Bryce did a handstand on the very top of his go...

it was a super cool comp...love to see the little chics go for stuff...had little Megan working super hard on the slab arete that I was judging...she finally got it on about the 10th go and that whole side of the gym gave a big cheer!!

BTW we have a few t-shirts left if anyone wants to stop by and pick one up!

So what is this milk crate thing? Does it involve stacking milk crates and climbing them to place each one? That sounds like a really cool and incredibly dangerous competition. I'm in.
