alrite i was gunna go ahead and spray beta to a some sick spots but "buster" ruined it for everone with his comment he made about my herbal remedies, maybe if you smoked some of MY hash youd realize that theres more to the red than untangling your cord at the bottom of over-rated jug hauls....no offense

Bouldering at the red is kinda like roping up in Hueco. Kinda cool as a distraction, but not the reason to be there. I have had some fun times bouldering in the red, and there are some super cool problems (Dreams, WDC, Pearl, etc), but they are scattered all over. Morehead is much better if you want to boulder, and not all that far. Otherwise, sack up and make the drive to an actual bouldering area.

On a lighter note, i totally agree that the red is not a bouldering destination, but its there if you want it without a doubt. in my opinon its just overshadowed by the massive amount of koosh, easy access crags, to me that translates into traffic. some people get stoked and feed off of the energy groups of people have...but the pad and the h***pipe, alone in the woods is enlightening no matter how many bolts are around the corner.

hashplant, no offense, we understand like so many others you don't like the "soft" ratings at the Red because there just aren't any moves that are hard. Consider climbing the routes as one pitch some time and then see what you think

God my mouth is watering about those sweet slab problomes slopers and little edges, big moves abound. and on the close boulder some HARD problomes abound. much more intresting than any crimp lader at the undertow!! oh, hashplant5 I dont think people can comprehend the shit you get
