Beautiful weekend - What did you climb?

Placing a cam? Slotting a nut? Slinging a tree?

HP40
Yeah, today I felt like I got run over by a car or something. With no gym here in town to stay in shape, these comps are killing me. I forgot how bad hard bouldering can hurt you.

What are you talking about LLR? That beer was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen after day like that. I just grabbed four coors and I didn't even want dinner.

Seriously though, Horton said he was totally disappointed about the dinner turnout and that they would make up for it at at LRC. Same burrito buffet + more kegs + more prizes. I can't wait.

My fav problem?...old inspirations.

Yeah, lets see some pics Wes.

Climbed over at Rebel Branch Hollow on Saturday. Their are some good sport routes their. I really liked Jungle trundler (really cool start), little viper, and return of the manimal. Oh yea, and the weather was great!!

Got to The Great Wall early on Saturday. Beautiful weather and great company.

Flashed Touch of Grey, Cruisin' for a Bruisin', Moots Madness, and Boulergeist. Got on some other climbs that we had previously done as well. Ended up the day with 10 climbs.

What a great day!

Climbed at Funky Rock with a ton of people. It was cool to get on Crusing Lane and Rite of Passage and feel pretty solid after not climbing in so long. Manic is still cool and Headstone Surfer didn't feel as easy Saturday on top rope as it did two years ago on lead. But all in all a great day and great weather.

Hopefully next weekend will be better.

I didn't get to climb this weekend because someone didn't get in touch with me about a ride down... Kris! Yas, how do you deal with this guy?? Does he bail on you all the time, too??

It's okay though Kris. Maybe we can meet up at Miguel's this weekend? Will you be down this weekend?

Nope, he's never bailed on me. He didn't get back to you because I didn't give him permission to climb with you. Sorry, I'm terrible at sharing.

Into bed, outof bed, couch, futon (free soloed that one), fuckin homework.

I did get to see some pretty bluffs on the river across from UT Knoxville's football stadium that need to be climbed. As well as tons of rock on the way back from Knoxville now that the leaves are gone. I felt like I was being taunted the whole weekend.
Screw you guys. I'm going bowling.

I finally did the Infidel and Dave the Dude-seems like when ever I've been at them recently, they've been busy. Amazing climbs-also did Rite of Passage, good stuff, and this pile to the right of Hook and Pendulum-I'd suggest that you don't waste your time on that one until you've done everything else.

Bum Boy and a few other projects from last trip to HP40. Fingers hurt pretty bad, not to mention the shoulders and back. I think I'm worked harder today than I've ever been since I started boldering.

Kick ass weekend, KY and Cinci kids took over the area.
