Rampant? Naw, its been a slow year for the West Nile. Too many other big stories for the media to hype, the old summer stand by of West Nile had to take a back seat to presidential politics, overseas wars, and Mt Saint Helens blowin' some steam.

Only a couple of horses and people had confirmed cases in KY. There was some pool around Lexington that tested positve, but I don't think there were any deaths in the state attributed to WN.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

I saw a large, gay ladybug at the motherlode around this time last year.
