In case anyone didn't realize, there is absolutely no charge for Roctoberfest this year. I know there is another thread on going on about this, but I just wanted to make sure to point out that this year's event has a different focus than those of the past. As I understand it, there were generous private donations made so this could be a completely free event for the RRG climbing community, as a way of reaching out to everyone and bringing us together. This was all Johnny's idea, and I'm certain having a big turnout would have pleased him--so I hope everyone will plan to attend. (You, too, Ray & Michelle.)
There will be no preaching and no Forest Service, just fun. You don't have to be a member or join in order to attend. In fact, you don't have to bring anything at all with you (except a valid ID for beer). The clinics, the party, the entertainment, the beer are all complimentary. I think this is really amazing and I, for one, am really looking forward to it. I hope to see y'all there!

It'll be sweet for sure. See y'all there!

I would also like to point out that Arno is doing his 1 day expresso clinic for free for up to twelve people. This clinic will be held at Volunteer and/or Playground. He will be focussing on balance and movement. His clinic starts @ 9:30 am. For all of the morning activities, Arno's clinic, the Bolting clinic, and the Murray Property Tours we will be meeting at Miguel's and shuttling down. We would welcom additional people who have 4WD to help shuttle people down and then back for these events.
